These terms govern your use of the GoodNews World Prayer app and website (“the Service”), operated by The GoodNews Church under Prophet Uebert Angel. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be able to form a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of a group, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that group.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it current.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in details safe.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Service, please do not:
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that includes another person’s private details without consent.
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection to the ministry.
- Attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, or access it by automated means without permission.
- Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or to infringe anyone’s rights.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Your content
Prayer notes, requests, questions and other content you submit remain yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store it, show it back to you, and — only where you have chosen to make a prayer request public and it has been approved — display it to other members. You are responsible for the content you submit.
5. Our content
Prayer points, scriptures, guides, tips, the Prayer Banks book and its narration, tongues recordings, and other material provided in the Service are the property of the ministry or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial devotional use. Please do not copy, redistribute or sell them.
6. Prayer requests and moderation
Prayer requests are private by default. Sharing a request with the wider community is optional and subject to review by an administrator, who may decline or later remove a request. We are not able to guarantee that any particular request is prayed for by a specific person.
7. Free service; changes
The Service is currently offered free of charge. We may add, change or remove features, and we may introduce paid options in future with clear notice. We may also suspend or discontinue the Service; if we do, we will give reasonable notice where practical.
8. Notifications
With your permission the app sends push notifications and emails (daily prayer points, reminders, challenge nudges, replies, and account messages). You can turn these off in the app settings; some account-critical emails, such as verification codes, may still be sent.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is”. It is a tool to support your prayer life; it is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or pastoral advice. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the Service and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — from Profile → Delete account in the app, or at goodnewsworldprayer.com/delete-account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We will update the date above when these terms change and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
